I attended a once in a life time retreat to celebrate my dearest friend’s birthday. There were 7 of her closest friends and the purpose of the workshop was to make a beautiful, heartfelt book to celebrate each of our friendship. I highly recommend participating in one of these beautiful retreats!

We invite you to take some time to reflect, recharge, and restore by joining the SoulBook retreat.
Making a personalized SoulBook will be a sweet treasure for you. It will help you remember the important things in your life when you need to be reminded the most. A SoulBook is a handmade book that tells all about YOU, your life, and what is important. It’s a compilation of words, phrases, and images that have value, and meaning and bring joy to you.
You will create your book while connecting with others - something we all need so much right now.
The book will be made of chunky cardboard pages held together in a very specific way. Each page will then be decorated and embellished. This will be the time to experiment with multi-media collage, one of the most fun and fulfilling art techniques because anything goes for creating color, texture, and personal meaning. No previous art experience is needed!
Art supplies will be provided, however, you might choose to bring some meaningful photos, buttons, charms, pieces of fabric, special paper, receipts, tags, notes, or cards you have kept - anything that is inspirational to you - from your past, present, or future dreams, and that you can GLUE down into your book.

You are invited to come to refresh, restore, and rediscover the playful part of yourself that loves to create. Join Jodi and Janie for a Mini Soul Restoration Retreat and make some Truth Cards!
“Art” is just a word for “creative expression” and creative expression is so wonderful because there is no right or wrong, good or bad! It’s transformational because it engages our whole being in the process. When we are free to be our authentic self, more possibilities arise and the gathering becomes sacred.
Truth cards are made using a multimedia collage method - by cutting and pasting words and images and adding other embellishments together to create a treasure for yourself. The most important part of a truth card is the soulful message to yourself.
No art experience is needed! You just need to show up, bring the love, and trust the process!

Thank you for a wonderful day. It is at our busiest when we think we can’t take time away that we need it most. I had a long list pulling at me, the exercises we did were so helpful in supporting me being present. The meditation will stay with me- I am welcoming my young child back- her vibrant precocious energy is just what I need to go along with my tempered growing wisdom as I age.

Jodi’s soul book workshop was transforming. As women arrived you saw the drain of the week on their shoulders, and this is how I felt. However after the final experience everyone looked refreshed and their souls were shining through their bright smiles! I so loved this day! I can’t wait to return and center and create in this beautiful way again!
